The following terms and conditions apply to all orders placed with Malik Online, all activity on Malik Online web sites listed below, all payments taken from customers online and all delivery methods used by Malik Online to deliver goods ordered. For detailed information please read below.

Malik Online is a part of Malik Foodstore and Malik Hair & Beauty Supplies, the business is a family run business that is run by the Malik family, started in 1980 and is now starting to be run by the third generation of family members.

Prices
All prices are in Sterling GB. All prices are correct at time of ordering. Malik Online have the right to adjust prices without prior notice. All products remain the property of Malik Online until full payment has been made.
VAT
As we are sellers of food products as well as hair & beauty products there are some items that carry VAT and some that do not. All items are shown as price to pay so include VAT if applicable. All items where VAT is applicable will be sold with VAT at the current VAT UK rate. As Malik Online are selling retail not wholesale it will be up to the buyer to claim any VAT back if they should not be paying VAT.
Orders
All order are subject to stock availability. Until an order has not been paid in full we are unable to reserve stock for any order. Once we have full payment of an order the order will be processed as normal. Where an order has been placed by Bank Transfer or by Cheque in the post we will be unable to process the order or hold stock until; such time as payment has cleared.
Payments
Payments made by Debit or Credit Card will be made through our Sage Pay Gateway and no card details will be stored by Malik Online. As the payments will be made through a third party secure site Malik Online takes no responsibility for customer’s card details.
Payments made by Bank transfer will be processed once the funds have cleared. Please make all direct bank payments in Sterling otherwise there may be delays in despatching goods due to variations in exchange rates when making a payment.
Cheque payments can be made if preferred to bank transfer. Please make all cheque payments to ‘Malik Online’ and send to Malik’s, 24 Stapleton Road, Easton, Bristol, BS5 0QX. Orders will only be processed once the cheque payment has cleared.
Refunds and Exchanges
Refund for credit and debit cards will be refunded back to the same source of payment.
Refund for Bank Payments will be made in the form of a cheque payment that will be sent to the buyer of the goods.
Refunds for ‘out of stock items’ will be refunded within 2 working days from date of request by the customer
Refund requests made by customer before despatch of goods will be refunded within 2 working days from the date of request. Once goods have been despatched we are unable to offer a refund until the good have been received back.
Refund for goods that a customer wishes to return, if you wish to return goods you must contact us within 7 days of receiving the goods and request a returns form. Products will have to be returned at the cost of the customer, we can not issue any refunds until we have received the goods back in its original packaging unopened. Refund will be issued within 2 working days of receiving goods back as long as they are deemed re-saleable.
Malik Online do not take responsibility for any breakages or losses occurred whilst goods are being returned at the responsibly of the customer, the customer is responsible to package and use the right carrier service for the return of any product no longer required.
The following items may not be exchanged or refunded:
Any item that is not in its original packaging.
Any item that has been used or tested
Fresh food products/
Perishable goods/ Short life expectancy products such as patties or breads
Pony Tails, Instant weaves (any hair attachment type product)
Wigs
Out of Stock Products
Usually item are in stock, however as we have a vast selection of items there will be occasions where items are out of stock. On these occasions we endeavour to update the website to show this. Due to also having a high street store there are occasion where stock may not be displayed out of stock, however when placing the order we may become out of stock.
If an item becomes out of stock then we will contact the customer giving an estimated date of re-stock, offering an alternative product or a refund for the product.
In the event we are unable to contact a customer and do not get a reply back from emails sent within two weeks we will refund the out of stock product and despatch the order, if we feel that the item ordered will have a long delay before coming back into stock.
Delivery
There are two delivery options;
Interlink Express – These are a carrier service that deliver in the UK and in the EU.
Royal Mail – This is mainly for smaller parcels and will be in the UK
You will be given a delivery option with the price on our check out page, below are the expected delivery day from date of despatch.
Royal Mail delivery is a first class post service, this can take 3 – 5 working days for delivery in the UK.
For all the above orders the cost of delivery is weight dependant, the price will be available to see and select on the checkout page before making a payment
Interlink Express delivery periods are listed below;

Scotland From 1 – 3 working days, depending on location
Northern Ireland From 3 – 5 working days
Isle of Man From 3 – 5 working days
The Channel Islands From 3 – 5 working days
Jersey & Guernsey From 3 – 5 working days

Fresh food items, breads and patties are will not be usually despatched on Friday, they will only be despatched on a day where the delivery can take place on the following day (sorry we are unable to offer Royal Mail service for fresh goods, breads and patties).
All goods can only be sent to the Card Holder home address or their work address if they prefer.

Guarantees and Liabilities
Malik Online sell products that are purchased from reputable suppliers, all stock that is sold is new unless otherwise stated. All products shown are described using information from the products or suppliers of those products; even though all care is taken to make sure the information is accurate we cannot guarantee this and take no liability for the in-accuracies in the descriptions.
Hair Products such as hair extensions, wigs and hair dyes, where the colours have been displayed on our web site, we cannot guarantee the accuracy of the colour as this is dependent on the customer monitor.
Electrical products carry a 12 months guarantee unless otherwise stated. If the product becomes faulty then you should contact Malik Online, Malik Online will then provide the information required to resolve this issue.
None electrical product, if these become defect or do not seem to match the description then the manufacturer should be contacted. Malik Online cannot take liability for products that are delivered still sealed; this liability will be with the manufacturer.
If any product have been received where the seal is broken, the product has been tampered with or the product date has expired then Malik Online with replace or refund these products without any further cost to the customer.
We reserve the right to refuse to service to customer if we feel that there are reasons that an order should not be fulfilled, the reasons can be we feel an order may be fraudulent, the customer has been verbally abusive to Malik Online staff or any other reason deemed unreasonable behaviour or such activity. We also reserve the right to block any computer, debit/credit card, address or name if we feel that there has been fraudulent activity associated with such computer, debit/credit card, address or name.
Privacy Policy
All care is taken with customers records. Malik Online do not share these details with any third parties. The only details that are kept are name, address and contact details (telephone numbers and email), these are used to process customer orders and are kept as a record. These details may also be used to send promotions or news letter from Malik Online, if this option has been selected.
WE DO NOT HOLD ANY INFORMATION FROM CUSTOMERS DEBIT OR CREDIT CARDS. All payments are handled through Sage Pay Gateway and are secured payments.
All data we do hold is stored securely.

Complaints regarding a delivery of damaged goods or parcel should be made within 7 days of receipt. You should take photographic evidence as this will be required to process the claim.
Any other complaints can be initially made by telephone, it is advisory that complaints should be made in writing and sent to the above address.
We endeavour to respond within 48 hours of receipt of claim.
